²⁹ The clan of the Kohathites were to camp on the south side of the tabernacle. ³⁰ Elizaphan, the son of Uzziel, was the leader of the clan of the Kohathites. ³¹ Their responsibility was for the Ark, the table, the lampstand, the altars, the vessels of the sanctuary, the screen, and everything that had to be done with these.
